Install Gnome CentOS | How to install the CentOS GUI

Install Gnome CentOS

To add install the Gnome GUI on CentOS login as root and enter the command below:

Install Gnome CentOS Command:

yum groupinstall "GNOME Desktop Environment"

Start Gnome on CentOS Boot:

chkconfig gdm on

Gnome should now be install on your CentOS box and automatically start gnome at boot.
